today i wish...

i seriously sleep sooooooo much better at night when i can hear rain falling outside my window.
... monday were friday.
i just wasn't ready to face another beginning of a week. i was still very attached to the weekend and wasn't ready to let go...
... plants would not die under my wrath.
water or no water, they seem to always die under my care.

he has a green thumb... and i do not.
... running today will be easy.
though i know it will be hard. i haven't run in 3 days.
it's going to hurt. but a girl can hope...
... i would find $100 on the ground.
it would seriously help a lot. the beginning of the
month is always so stressful. right?
... for my friend's luck to turn around.
she's had some serious personal crisis' happen
and i wish i could just give her a hug.
... Macys will accept my return with no questions asked.
i'm always so bad at being firm and stubborn when it comes to that stuff.
... that this ring would magically appear in my mailbox.
with their gorgeous, expensive rings
... for monday, and the rest of the week, to fly by.
because weekends are just too far away on mondays.
and you know how much i love my weekends.

mine, in a word, was productive.
i ran errands.
i played poker with friends.
i lost at poker.
good thing Mr. D is good at poker.
i cooked.
i cleaned.
i did some dishes.
i paid rent. BOOOOOO
i stayed in PJ's until 1:00 pm - yeah!
i watched the US vs. Canada hockey game
i watched funny people - not a funny as you'd think
i went shopping with a bestie... always fun!
i got a very cute new shirt -- very summer!
i watched food network
i walked olive
i slept a ton
all in all -- it was a great weekend
