HAUTELOOK: Sevin Nyne Self-Tanning Sensation - On Sale!

Entrepreneur, actress, singer and style icon Lindsay Lohan always seems to have the perfect tan, but she knows better than to bake her sensitive skin in the sun. Over the years, Lindsay tried every sunless tanning product on the market, but she never found one she loved until she met celebrity airbrush tanner expert Lorit Simon.

"I have tried every tanning product on the market and worked with the best tanners in the business. When Lorit and I met, we thought it would be great to bring a quality product at a reasonable price to the market so everyone could enjoy a professional spray tan," Lohan says.

Lorit loved the look of a deep suntan, but her pale skin kept her in the shade. She began experimenting with tanning solutions when she was in her teens, and by the time she reached her 20s she had become a highly sought-after airbrush tanner to the stars.
Now, three years in the making, Sevin Nyne Tanning Mist is Lindsay and Lorit’s way of bottling the magic of a perfect tan.

Infused with goji berry extract, known for its powerful antioxidant properties, and chardonnay extracts to keep the skin hydrated, Sevin Nyne Tanning Mist provides a long lasting, luscious tan that allows you to spray yourself healthy.

Sevin Nyne Tanning Mist is the first of many beauty products from Sevin Nyne, all dedicated to cherishing your skin.
Lindsay named the brand after her own lucky numbers, 7 and 9.

As weavers of the most beautiful rugs in the world, Safavieh has been producing beautiful area rugs and a range of classic furniture since 1914. As a leader in the handmade rug category, the brand’s national distribution has allowed a new generation of fans to decorate their homes with the sophisticated designs. Inspired by vibrant colors, luxurious textures, and irresistible-to-the-touch materials, Stephanie Albertson's designs combine her appreciation of the classical principles of jewelry making with a strong sense of elegant and timeless fashion. Stephanie handcrafts each piece in her collection using 22k gold and an assortment of precious and semi-precious gemstones and beads. Because each piece is handmade, and each bead or stone carefully chosen, no two pieces in the line will ever be exactly the same. Each piece in the collection is unique, with a personality and life of its own.

When asked about her designs, Albertson says: "My jewelry is about color and having fun. I love the whimsical, magical and expressive power of jewelry, and especially the notion that jewelry should be fun to wear. My jewelry allows the wearer to make a personal statement and express their individual sense of style.”

Tibi's designer and founder Amy Smilovic knew what direction her career should take after moving to Hong Kong in 1997. Soon after leaving a successful marketing career at American Express in Manhattan and arriving in exotic Asia, Amy began designing a collection of brilliant must have pieces. Each season Amy designs a range of prints that match her sense of style and quirky approach to dressing. Tibi is now one of the hottest contemporary lines and can be found in over 200 specialty stores and upscale department stores around the world.
Butter was born when designer Nancy Geist and business partner, Lee Riech recognized a void in the shoe market for flirty, feminine designs. Since its debut in 2007, Butter's recipe for success has evolved from the perfect peep-toe pump to chic, collectible skimmers and flats. Devout followers of Butter praise the line for its wearable styles and impeccable, of-the-moment details. Geist and Riech are dedicated to creating timeless shoes that can be reimagined each season, while still maintaining the unbeatable quality and perfect fit that has made Butter such a smooth success.

WEDNESDAY, 5/5/10 BEGINNING AT 11 A.M. CT ON GILT GROUPE

A unique blend of soy, maple and palm waxes allows D.L. & Co. candles to diffuse their fragrant oils without plumes of smoke. Set the mood with the spicy jasmine sandalwood, which features notes of amber and black pepper, or revive with the uplifting scent of french tuberose. There are also swanky diffusers, packaged in glass vessels etched with delicate Art Nouveau patterns.

Marni designer Consuelo Castiglioni brings an artistic eye to bear on this selection of dresses and coats. Boxy jackets in bright colors top off a cavalcade of boldly printed frocks. From wrapped and nipped day dresses splashed with painterly patterns to shifts with large-scale colorblocking to mini-dresses with chunky gemstone necklines, this attention-getting lineup makes it clear why the brand is many a fashion editor’s darling. One of the most imitated and inimitable high-end labels around started out as a side project. Consuelo Castiglioni conceived of Marni in 1994 as a parenthetical collection of outrĂ© outerwear using fur from her husband’s family business. Crafted in unexpected and clever ways, the coats proved so popular that underpinnings soon followed — printed tops, boxy dresses, techy leggings and kooky accessories — that are widely beloved by fashion editors and artist types from Milan to New York.

Missoni’s magnifico knits zig where others zag. The Italian design house’s instantly recognizable patterns prettify everything they touch, from tops and skirts to dresses and scarves. This selection also includes floral prints that you might not associate with Missoni, but are a perfect partner to the stripes. The Missoni knitwear legacy began back in 1953 when newlyweds Ottavio and Rosita Missoni set up a small knitwear workshop in the basement of their home in Italy. What began as just two knitting machines and a bold and innovative striped pattern quickly grew into a global fashion dynasty. Today, this Italian family-run company is world-famous for its signature, technicolor prints. With its offspring line, M. Missoni, the Missoni family has reinvented their trademark zigzags and stripes for the next generation.

Los Angeles designer Corinne Grassini has a love for defying trends and breaking rules. Silk vests in shades of taupe and gray are accented with chain details at the front and back, while Grassino rebellious spirit rears its fun head in her cleverly draped architectural dresses. Let fashion freedom ring. That’s the sentiment behind the Society for Rational Dress, a label that takes its name from a group in 19th-century England that rallied against the use of constricting Victorian undergarments. With her contemporary clothing line, Los Angeles designer Corinne Grassini has a similar love for defying trends and breaking rules. Her cuts are architectural yet feminine, edgy yet easygoing, with silk and cotton draped in new and novel ways. Subtle accents of leather and metal — used in belts, grommets and straps — lend the designs a rebellious spirit.

HAUTELOOK: LORAC Sales Event - Tuesday, 4/27/10 - Not to Be Missed!

The "Red Carpet Authority" lines of cosmetitcs by Carol Shaw - LORAC (her name backwards, ah ha) - will showcase a fab little diddy for all of us tomorrow on HauteLook with some products priced at $4!

During her twenty years as a makeup artist, Carol Shaw has had the opportunity to work with some of the most prestigious photographers: Annie Leibovitz and Steven Meisel, among others. Her work has appeared on the covers of Vogue, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Allure, Elle, Jane, and many other magazines. She's also worked with top models such as Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, and numerous others. Currently, she works with the most famous faces walking down the Red Carpet such as Nicole Kidman, Debra Messing, Rachel Bilson, and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

After doing makeup for many years, she found that many of her clients had the same complaints about makeup; too many of the products irritated the skin, felt and looked artificial and just didn't last. So, Shaw created LORAC. LORAC has enjoyed and still enjoys a huge following of celebrities, beauty editors, beauty bloggers and many more, for one reason - quality products that never disappoint. Simple.

This isn't the first HauteLook - LORAC sales event, and hopefully it won't be the last. Don't miss it tomorrow beginning at 8:00 am PT.
