Makeup Photoshoot: Amy . . .

Last night was my second time for full makeup application on a model. My adorable coworker Amy was kind enough to be my model for the evening. {She has the most amazing eyes don't you think?}

The application was a smokey eye with purples {to bring out her green eyes} and black... inspired by a bridal application photo from a magazine. I was pretty proud of this one.

Finally, here are some images from my first makeup application/photo shoot.

My little Manders made a wonderful model...

 Next makeup application is Thursday {tomorrow}

The required style {which we're being graded on} is bridal.

Our teacher gave each one of us a specific tear out from a bridal magazine, and we're required to replicate that look on our model... I got another smokey look, which I'm very excited about. Love me some smokey eye... I will hopefully have pictures of that as well...

Oh, and some video/photo tutorials are in the works... I've just been too busy to edit/put them together for you, but I AM working on them... I promise  ; )

working woman. . .

sorry for my absence this week folks... i've been a bit of a bad blogger lately. honestly, i've been running around like a crazy woman at work, which has left little time for funny, well-though-out posts. {as i do most of my posting on my work computer} today is no different, unfortunately. i am off to a meeting, then to run errands, then to take more architecture photos like these:

 but on the bright side, tomorrow is FRIDAY! woot woot!! so friggin happy about that! this weekend is going to be nice... might even include a short trip to Santa Monica... that place is so beautiful to me, not sure why. I'm excited.

yay! It's tuesday . . .

i was so bummed it was monday i decided to ignore it all together yesterday. please don't feel neglected. guess what? it is already tuesday, one step closer to the glorious weekend. 

anywho, it was a great weekend... far too short, but full of laughter, tears, happy moments, sad moments, long lost friends and lovely pictures. here are just a few photos from the weekend...
